The Accolades Keep Adding up for Student Athletes

The Michigan High School Interscholastic Bowling Coaches Association has named their All State Teams and two of our Golden Hawks have earned recognition. Derek Nyenhuis made the 1st Team All State finishing in the top spot and Kevin Kuipers was named to the 2nd Team All State finishing 7th.   There are well over 400 bowlers in their Division.  [...]

Rogers Alumni Earns Academic All-American Award

Katie Harms was awarded Academic All American by the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association.  In order to be eligible for this award an athlete must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or better.  Katie is majoring in chemistry at AdrianCollege and she is currently maintaining a GPA of 4.0. Bowling Untouchable Last Night

The bowling teams defeated Park yesterday at Spectrum Lanes.  The boys won 30 – 0 and the girls won 23 – 7; Top Hawks were:  Derek Nyenhuis 245 & 236; Kevin “Lefty” Kuipers 223; and Chris Benham 212.  Marissa Forsythe scored her personal best 193 and Lyndsee Harrison shot 185.
